Next FrontPage asks your account information:

When this is verified and accepted, transfer begins.

Permission is asked to overwrite and delete:

New folders are created as needed:

There is one problem in creating folders on the Tripod Web site:

FTP error message: 550 Permission denied. One level of subdirectories allowed.
As a result, the _themes folder cannot have a folder to hold the actual theme image files. In the case of this web, the subdirectory name is blocks. While this folder cannot be created in either the FrontPage FTP mode or via an FTP client such as WS_FTP, the folder/subdirectory can be created using the File Manager on the Tripod site.

Pages are retrieved from your hard disk and sent to the Web site:

Don't know why the path it shows for retrieving pages seems to stutter. Obviously it is an invalid Windows path.

After all files are transferred, it cleans up the site:

When all the needed subdirectories are present so the FTP can complete, there appears the following:

When you click on the "Click here..." you see in your browser an FTP list of files (after first supplying the account name and password.)

Information on using FrontPage at Tripod can be found at So you want to use FrontPage. Information on subdirectories is at Managing Subdirectories.
