2 problems sent 98.10.8 In File Manager, when I try to rename a file, it will not let the new name exceed 30 characters, even though the file to be renamed may be longer than that. This apparently is an arbitrary limit on the length of the box set by . If such a limit is necessary, there should be a warning notice. FrontPage creates a lot of long file names. When I use File Manager to upload files to the subdirectory _derived, I get error messages as follows: I have similar problems when I try uploading via WS_FTP and the MS Web Publishing Wizard that is part of FrontPage 98. All of these methods have worked before on the same type of files on the same site. Has something changed? Is the file name too long? Does it not like more than one period in the file name?
